Do I really need to use cuticle oil?
Yes. I can not stress enough the importance of cuticle oil, especially during our cold, dry winter months. Cuticle oil helps to hydrate your skin and natural nail, keeping them healthy and flexible. If your nails are prone to the free edge separating, applying cuticle oil to the underside of your nail will keep it hydrated. This prevents the natural nail from becoming dry and curling away from the enhancement. Your nails are porous, if they are continually soaked in water and left to air dry they will eventually start to dry out. Your nails become extremely dry and brittle. By using cuticle oil on a regular basis it will help to keep the natural nail hydrated and healthy, thus, preventing the nail from pulling away or separating from the enhancement.
